But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. - 1 Peter 2:9
From a divine crusade to a thriving campus fellowship — the story of God's faithfulness across four decades.
A crusade at the Chapel of Resurrection, University of Ibadan, ignited the vision for what would become GSFUI — God's Sweetest Family.
The fellowship was officially registered with the University of Ibadan, becoming the second oldest GSF fellowship arm nationwide (after GSF OAU).
Fellowship meetings began with Friday Prayer meetings at the Chapel Lawn (now Chapel Tarmac) — an open-air gathering under the grace of God.
Sunday Services initially held at GOFAMINT Headquarters, Ojoo, before the first Sunday Service on campus was held at Abadina Primary School, University of Ibadan.
From open lawns to dedicated halls — every space has been a house of God.

Building a permanent home for God's Sweetest Family — from dreams and first contributions to a dedicated piece of land.
The dream of a permanent home began with the first Bethel contributions during the 2014/15 tenure.
After years of faith and giving, the initial payment for the land was made — a landmark moment in GSFUI history.
GSFUI fully purchased her land — Bethel — a permanent piece of earth consecrated for God's Sweetest Family.
During the Alumni Reunion Sunday, the Bethel land was officially dedicated to God. A day of celebration and gratitude.
The project continues as GSFUI works towards building a permanent auditorium on the Bethel land. The future is bright.
